The first Indian 3D horror movie “Haunted-3D” was released in India on 6th May, 2011. The movie has done a great business of 13 crore Indian Rupees during its first week of release and has established a new record of highest opening week, among all other horror movies of India. However, during the second week of release, the popularity graph of this first 3D horror movie has been declined rapidly. If we take a look on monthly income, then it is 26.25 crore in Indian rupees. Some critics are saying that the major reason behind this first window-break week was just the 3D format of movie, as the plot of movie is not so much different from other horror movies.
