An Indian action movie “Shagird” was released on May 13, 2011. Director Tigmanshu Dhulia has used two different ideologies to make the movie a box office hit. One is the choosing highly suitable characters for leading roles and second is turning the movie in a weird direction. The prominent character of movie is very talented and experienced actor Nana Patekar as Sr. Inspector Hanumant Singh. The other leading roles are played by Mohit Ahlawat as Jr. Inspector Mohit Kumar, Rimi Sen as Versha Mathur, Anurag Kashyap as Bunty Bhaiya and Zakir Hussain as Rajmani Singh Yadav. The genres of movie are action, crime and drama.
